I live in South East Cornwall with my husband and 2 children Jesse and Jasper, and my lively collie Scout.
I’m never happier than when I’m outside roaming about, come wind, rain or occasional cornish sunshine. I spend my time with my family at the beach or on the moors as we have an affinity for sea swimming and bike riding. Being outdoors gives me ample opportunity for foraging, and I’m often joined by my youngest son Jasper who loves to collect fallen lichen and seed heads.
I studied Art at Plymouth College of Art, Bournemouth Institute of Art and Falmouth School of Art and I am a qualified Art Teacher. I now specialise in sustainable floral design and clay work and all my inspiration and drive is taken from the extraordinary surrounding landscapes and communities of Cornwall. I am on a life-long journey to capture and celebrate the beauty of my county.
I have always made, created and daydreamed in colours, shapes and lines, and am enthralled by the natural world . My focus within my work is to create beautiful, lasting designs that celebrate the natural habitats of Cornwall, without taking from them, or damaging them. My depth of love and respect for the land that surrounds me is what drives my work, and I hope that I can instill this in my children and to the people that I work with.
My work has been exhibited at the Dye Exhibition- London, The Poly- Falmouth, and local exhibits.

For this project I delivered two creative workshops to local primary schools, encouraging learners to create visual displays for shop fronts in the Liskeard Town centre, the theme of the workshops was based on the Go Cornish project. This project encourages schools to incorporate the Cornish language into their curriculum with the aid of illustrations and Cornish stories, this is a project that I was very keen to be involved with.
